What is a Channel Partners Program?

A Channel Partners Program is a business initiative in which one company enters a partnership with a third party to maximize the collective reach, efficiency, and value of both entities.  Depending on a company's specific industry, mode of operation, clientele, and market position, the partnership may take many different shapes such as dealership arrangement with a sporting good or golf shop, a dealer/agent arrangement with a logistical partner, a independent sales relationship with manufacturer' reps, or a working partnership with event planners.  In either case the program is meant to be an effective and rewarding way for all of us to increase revenue and grow our individual businesses.
